    Refund & Cancellation Policy

    Billing Currency Notice

    All transactions are processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD). Prices displayed in other currencies are for reference only. The final charge to your payment method will be in CAD, and your bank may apply its own exchange rate. Refunds will be issued in CAD at the original transaction amount.

    1. The "Right Fit" Promise

    We believe the relationship between student and tutor is paramount. If, after your first scheduled session, you feel the match is not right, you may cancel your Academic Subscription immediately without any Early Termination Fee.

    The Cost: You will be charged only for that single session at our standard One-Time / À La Carte rate.
    The Refund: Any remaining balance from your initial payment will be refunded.
    The Condition: You must notify us in writing within 48 hours of the first session's completion. After this window, the full Academic Year commitment applies.

    2. EU, UK & Quebec: Right of Withdrawal Waiver

    Notice to Residents of the EU, UK, and Quebec:

    Standard consumer protection laws provide a 14-day "cooling-off" period. However, by booking your first lesson or accessing our digital learning materials (Guides, Videos, AI Coach) immediately after purchase, you expressly request that the service begin during the withdrawal period and acknowledge that you thereby waive your right of withdrawal.

    If you choose to cancel under this statutory right before booking a lesson or accessing content, you will be refunded in full. Once services have commenced, standard cancellation policies apply.

    3. Subscription Early Termination

    Our Academic Subscriptions are a commitment through May 31st. If you cancel after the "Right Fit" window, an Early Termination Fee applies based on the remaining value of your contract.

    The fee is calculated as a percentage of the remaining contract value at the time of cancellation.

    4. Session Cancellations (Lateness & No-Shows)

    Student Lateness

    Tutors wait 15 minutes. If you arrive after 15 minutes, the session is forfeited (marked as delivered), and 1 Credit is deducted.

    Late Cancellation

    Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are forfeited (1 Credit deducted). No refunds.

    5. International Compliance & Governing Law

    Global Consumer Rights:

    US
    United States: Automatic Renewal laws (California/New York) are respected; you may cancel renewal at any time via the portal.
    AE
    UAE & Singapore: Services are governed by the specific service agreement signed at checkout.
    HK
    Hong Kong: Contracts for personal services are binding upon performance.

    Governing Law: In all other respects, this policy is governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
