What's the difference between packages and subscriptions?

Packages are pay-as-you-go credit bundles (3-20 lessons) with flexible expiry dates (1-9 months). Use them whenever you need—perfect for exam prep or targeted support. Subscriptions are monthly plans (2-6 lessons/month) with the lowest per-lesson rates, guaranteed weekly slots, and a dedicated tutor. They run through the academic year (May) for consistent support.

Can I switch between packages and subscriptions?

Yes! You can start with a package and upgrade to a subscription later. If you have unused package credits when you subscribe, we'll roll them over or apply them to your first subscription payment. Just talk to your Academic Director.

What happens if I don't use all my credits?

Accepted Answer

Package credits are valid for 1-9 months depending on the package size. We'll send reminder emails as expiry approaches. For subscriptions, a limited number of unused credits roll over each month (1-3 depending on your plan). We also offer concierge scheduling to help you use all sessions.

How does the Discovery package restriction work?

Discovery packages are limited to new families only, one per student per academic year. This introductory offer lets you try our service at a special rate. After using your Discovery package, you can purchase any other package or subscription.

What if I need to cancel my subscription?

Accepted Answer

All subscriptions auto-cancel on May 31st (end of academic year), so no action is needed at year-end. If you wish to cancel mid-year, our First Session Guarantee lets you cancel within 48 hours of your first session with no Early Termination Fee—you only pay for that single session. After that window, early cancellation is subject to an Early Termination Fee based on the remaining contract value. Yes! All subscriptions automatically cancel on May 31st. No action needed. This ensures you're not charged during summer break. If you start in April or later, you'll have the option to commit through the next academic year for extended support.

What's included in the April+ extended commitment?

Accepted Answer

If you start a subscription in April or later, you can choose extended commitment through the next academic year (ending May 31 of following year). Sessions pause during summer (June-August) and December break, but you maintain your tutor relationship and guaranteed slot.

Can I share credits between siblings?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Package credits can be shared between siblings in the same family. Perfect for families with multiple IB students. Subscriptions are per-student, but you can purchase multiple subscriptions at a family discount. Contact us for details.
